Το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Ψηφιακών Τεχνών “Athens Video Art Festival”, καλεί για άλλη μια χρονιά τους λάτρεις της δημιουργίας, να πειραματιστούν, να εκφραστούν και να δηλώσουν συμμετοχή στο “Athens Video Art Festival 08”.

Το Athens Video Art Festival, είναι ένα διεθνές φεστιβάλ αφιερωμένο στις ψηφιακές τέχνες και πολιτισμό και τις νέες τεχνολογίες, και το επίσημο φεστιβάλ video art της Ελλάδος.

Οι καλλιτέχνες καλούνται να συμμετάσχουν με έργα, και να δηλώσουν συμμετοχή στις εξής κατηγορίες: video art, video installations, performance art, web art και κατασκευές.

Δεν υπάρχει κόστος συμμετοχής.

Είναι ο τίτλος της έκθεσης με έργα που περιλαμβάνουν προσωπικές ερμηνείες και στοχασμούς τυπωμένα στη φωτοευαίσθητη μνήμη των καλλιτεχνών οι οποίοι μάς προσκαλούν να τη μοιραστούμε.

Oι Φωτοερευνητές είναι μία νέα δυναμική φωτογραφική ομάδα που αποτελείταικατα βάση απο αποφοίτους της Eλεύθερης Σπουδής Φωτογραφίας του Πειραϊκού Συνδέσμου.

H πρώτη τους ομαδική έκθεση επέλεξαν να είναι με εικόνες απ την πόλη που τους περιβάλλει και τους εμπνέει.

A piano, a saw, a sexy dancer in the background, a voice. They cover Ella Fitszerald, Tracy Chapman and Kelis and they manage to sound like the most nihilistic and dead sexy post-World War II cabaret band in East Berlin, but playing...punk.
Does this make sense? Too good to be true? Too good and painfully true. And yes, they are from Athens. They play guerilla gigs alla over town, both the girl and the boy scream their guts out.
Listen to them. Make love to them. Excuse me, just fuck like bunnies.

Her work has been used in books, magazines, cd covers, posters and other cool things! She has worked for Space Jam, EMI Records, Gorillaz, Wallpaper magazine, The Guardian etc. Katherina Manolessou grew up in Greece and now lives and works in London as freelance animator. Great talent!
